Per-vehicle pricing for fleet maintenance software runs from free to about $10 a month in published prices, but the list price is only part of what you pay. This page compares what vendors publish, shows the arithmetic at 10 and 50 vehicles and lists what to ask about voice features, which no vendor we found prices separately. Schedule a call to price your own fleet.
What Fleet Maintenance Software Publishes per Vehicle Per Month in 2026, and What the Prices Leave Out
Entry prices cluster between free and $10, but billing terms, user limits and quote-only vendors make the table uneven
| Product | Published starting price | Notes from the source |
|---|---|---|
| FleetRabbit | Free up to 3 vehicles, then $5 per vehicle per month | Self-serve price; enterprise terms to be confirmed |
| Fleetio | $4 per vehicle per month annual, $5 monthly (Essential) | Professional $7 and Premium $10, annual only; unlimited users |
| Whip Around | Free plan (1 vehicle, 1 user); $5 per vehicle per month paid | Per Software Connect, not the vendor page |
| AUTOsist | $6 per vehicle per month | $59 per month minimum for 5 vehicles, per Software Connect |
| Fullbay | $188 per month, 1 user, annual agreement | Priced per shop and user, not per vehicle |
| MaintainX | Free plan; $20 per user per month | Per user, so cost follows head count |
| Samsara, Verizon Connect, Tenna | Quote only | No published per-vehicle price |
The Fleetio figures come from its own pricing page, which also says prices depend on plan, fleet size, contract term and payment term. The Whip Around, AUTOsist, Fullbay and MaintainX figures come from a Software Connect roundup updated September 27, 2026, so confirm them on each vendor's site. Fleetio's page promotes an AI Service Advisor without a price and does not mention voice.
The Monthly Bill at 10 and 50 Vehicles: List Prices Multiplied Out Side by Side
Free vehicles help a small fleet most, and the gap between vendors narrows as the fleet grows
This is our own arithmetic on published list prices, not a vendor quote. It assumes the first 3 FleetRabbit vehicles are free and ignores minimums beyond those noted, users, hardware and taxes.
Where the Cost per Truck Grows Beyond the List Price: Minimums, Hardware, Onboarding and Add-Ons
Five cost layers decide whether a $5 headline price stays near $5 once the contract is signed
Fullbay's published price is per shop and user, MaintainX's is per user, and Samsara and Verizon Connect publish none, so per-vehicle comparisons only work for vendors that price per vehicle. Ask each vendor for a written quote at your fleet size that lists every line.
Is Voice Capture Priced Separately? What We Could and Could Not Verify About Voice AI Costs
No vendor we read lists a separate voice price, so treat any voice premium as something to ask about in writing
Fleetio's page lists no voice feature. FleetRabbit's pricing page does not list voice either, and the free-tier feature list is not published there, so confirm in writing what voice capture includes on the free and paid plans. For the wider market, Grand View Research puts AI voice agents at about USD 2.5 billion in 2025 and about USD 35.2 billion by 2033, a 39.0 percent CAGR from 2026. That is a general market led by customer support, not fleet maintenance, so it says nothing about what a fleet should pay.
